Solutions Engineer France and EMEA territories - w/m
Role based in Paris (75008)


Directly reporting to the Enterprise Core Solution Sales Director, you'll provide infrastructure and application presales support for channel based and direct sales opportunities across all Enterprise product lines.
You will work closely with the regional Sales team and Sales channels to assist in the qualification of prospects and help define and execute on account plans, liaising at both a technical and commercial level with potential customers and existing users to assist in the production winning sales propositions. You'll act as interface between the customer, sales, services and the product house and will be the primary customer facing technical interface in the region to partners and customers.

Responsibilities :

- Create and deliver compelling, customer centric offer (Presentations, Demos, Pricing, ROI) by connecting technical features to business drivers and pain points
- Professionally and independently conduct discovery conversations and needs analysis for both business and technical topics
- Responsible for development and delivery of overview presentation and demonstration of product lines
- Lead in all technical aspects of the sales process
- Manage and interpret customer requirements and use astute questioning skills to understand, anticipate and exceed customer needs
- Influence and educate clients that our client's solution will best satisfy their needs in terms of ease of use, quality, benefit and value.
- Proactively own and deliver on-time solution design documents, presentations, Pre-PO SOWs etc to meet the customers' business needs and our client's booking policy during the sales cycle
- Assist with definition and execution of successful proof of concepts (POC), where appropriate
- Strong teamwork required with sales and development teams
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
- Provide product feedback and suggestions to Product team members
- Able to proactively own and promptly respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs and deliver on-time
- Active role in building the require opportunities and pipeline by building and maintaining regular contact with key customers ensuring continued business and future sales
- Act as an integral team member working to achieve regional and team sales goals


Requirements :

- 2-3 years of previous experience as sales engineering/pre-sales/System Engineering
- Strong customer facing and relationship skills
- Must have the ability to learn quickly and assimilate technical and functional knowledge
- Proven technical background and experience with an international leading Software Vendor
- Self-sufficient, and likes to be given end objectives with flexibility to take ownership and manage activities & processes to achieve results
- Ability to deliver against tight timelines with drive for Customer focus and satisfaction
- Ability to relate technology to business issues/challenges and translate to business/operational benefits
- Individual must be highly motivated with excellent communication (verbal/written) and presentations skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or equivalent
- Must speak/write conversational English at a minimum. Other European languages would be an advantage (Spanish, Dutch, Swedish…)
- Willing to travel within EMEA as/when required
- Must be a strong team player
